The Oundle Business Association enjoyed a spectacular re-scheduled Alpine themed Christmas party in March. Over 40 guests (some dressed ski wear) enjoyed a delicious Savoyard feast of Raclette, charcuterie, pickles and sauerkraut provided by Stanley Street Eats at The Splined Hub workshops in Oundle. Carefully selected wines were provided by Amps Wine Merchants and great local beer was enjoyed from Nene Valley Brewery.
A memorable highlight was Chair Paul Eveleigh performing a Boris skit! But his after-dinner speech also held some important messages about how we as a business community need to decarbonise; how OBA is achieving some good things by collaborating with Oundle Town Council; and how there are some inspirational young people starting their own businesses locally and that encouraging others to do the same would be beneficial for everyone. The OBA Committee would like to thank all who helped with creating this memorable event.
